
Aisha Hassan is a Malaysian writer and journalist. She is also the co-founder of Dia Guild, an e-commerce and content platform that showcases Southeast Asian artisanship. In addition to Dia and writing, Aisha works for Peremba (Malaysia) and helps develop the company’s philanthropic foundation and hospitality business.
Previously, Aisha worked as a general assignment reporter for Quartz in New York and primarily covered technology and culture. Prior to that, she covered wellness and beauty for Harper’s Bazaar Malaysia. She was also an admissions tutor, and ran creative writing workshops for kids. Aisha has a bachelor’s degree in English Language & Literature from the University of Oxford, and a master’s degree from Columbia’s Graduate School of Journalism.
